Sybilla of Normandy was born around 1092 in Domfront, Normandy, as the first child of Henry I of England and Lady Sybilla Corbet of Alcester. Her maternal grandfather was Robert Corbet of Alcester. Around 1107, she married Alexander I, King of Scotland, becoming the Queen of Alba. The marriage was childless, and the ceremony might have taken place as early as 1107 or as late as 1114.
Sybilla died in July 1122 at Eilean nam Ban, Kenmore, Scotland, and was buried at Dunfermline Abbey. Alexander I did not remarry after her death.
