Michael de la Pole, 3rd Earl of Suffolk, was an English nobleman born in 1394, the eldest son of Michael de la Pole, 2nd Earl of Suffolk, and Katherine de Stafford. In 1415, he joined the military campaign in France with his father, contributing 20 men-at-arms and 60 archers. After his father’s death at the Siege of Harfleur, Michael inherited the title of Earl of Suffolk.

His tenure as Earl was short-lived as he was killed in the Battle of Agincourt on 25 October 1415, becoming one of the notable English casualties. He was married to Elizabeth Mowbray, the daughter of the 1st Duke of Norfolk, with whom he had only daughters. Michael’s brother William de la Pole succeeded him. His burial place is believed to be either Butley Priory in Suffolk or the Church of St Mary the Virgin in Ewelme, Oxfordshire.
