Margaret Plantagenet, Viscountess of Tartas

Margaret Plantagenet, Viscountess of Tartas, was born into the prominent Plantagenet family as the daughter of Edmund of Woodstock, 1st Earl of Kent, and Margaret Wake, 3rd Baroness Wake of Liddell. Her ties to English royalty included being the granddaughter of King Edward I of England. Margaret’s marriage to Arnaud Amanieu VIII d’Albret linked her to the French nobility.
