Lady Sarah Chatto

Lady Sarah Frances Elizabeth Chatto, born Sarah Armstrong-Jones on 1 May 1964, is a member of the British royal family. She is the daughter of Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon, and Antony Armstrong-Jones, 1st Earl of Snowdon. Lady Sarah and her brother, David Armstrong-Jones, 2nd Earl of Snowdon, are the maternal first cousins of King Charles III and the youngest grandchildren of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother. Originally 7th in line to the British throne at her birth, she is now 28th in the succession as of May 2023. While she does not perform public duties, she is often present at royal family events and ceremonies.

Born at Kensington Palace, Lady Sarah was raised alongside her brother by a nanny, with parents who were involved in their upbringing. Her education included time at Bedales School, Camberwell School of Art, and Middlesex Polytechnic. She has pursued a career as a painter, exhibiting her work and winning awards. Additionally, Lady Sarah holds the position of vice president of the Royal Ballet. In her personal life, she married Daniel Chatto in 1994 and they have two sons together.
