Titles: Heir Apparent to the Kingdom of Alba, 3rd Earl of Northumbria, 3rd Earl of Huntingdon

Henry of Scotland, also known as Eanric mac Dabíd, was born in 1114 and became the heir apparent to the Kingdom of Alba. He held the titles of 3rd Earl of Northumbria and 3rd Earl of Huntingdon. He was the offspring of King David I of Scotland and Queen Maud, the 2nd Countess of Huntingdon.

Throughout the 1140s, Henry’s health was declining, and he died suddenly on 12 June 1152, either in Newcastle or Roxburgh. His death did not lead to a succession crisis, as he was survived by three sons who continued his lineage. The Huntingdon earldom subsequently passed to his half-brother Simon II de Senlis after his demise.
