Anne Say

Anne Say was an English Baroness, the daughter of Sir John Say and Elizabeth Cheney, Lady Say. She married Sir Henry Wentworth around February 25, 1470, and through this marriage, she was connected to the English nobility. Anne was the mother of six children, including Sir Richard Wentworth and Margery Wentworth, who was the mother of Jane Seymour, the third wife of King Henry VIII, making Anne the great-grandmother of Edward VI. Her father was a significant political figure, serving as speaker of the House of Commons and holding other prestigious positions. Anne herself, however, is not known for any personal achievements in politics or battles.
