Alice, also known as Adeliza or Adelaide, was born around 1002 as a daughter of Richard II, Duke of Normandy, and Judith of Brittany. She became the Countess consort of Burgundy through her marriage to Reginald I, Count of Burgundy, in 1016. During her tenure as countess, she had at least two children, William I, Count of Burgundy, and Guy of Burgundy. Alice passed away in 1038 at the age of approximately 36.
Her death marked the end of her role as Countess consort, and her son William I succeeded her husband as Count of Burgundy.
