Ada de Warenne, born around 1120, was the daughter of William de Warenne, 2nd Earl of Surrey, and Elizabeth of Vermandois. She married Henry of Scotland, Earl of Northumbria and Earl of Huntingdon, in 1139. As part of her marriage settlement, she received the privileges of Haddington in East Lothian, which was the first royal burgh in Scotland.
Following the deaths of her husband in 1152 and King David I of Scotland in 1153, Ada's son Malcolm IV became King of Scots. Ada retired to her lands at Haddington after Malcolm's coronation. She attempted to arrange a marriage for Malcolm with Constance, daughter of Conan III, Duke of Brittany, but he died in 1165 before the wedding could occur.
Ada de Warenne died in 1178. Her son William I succeeded his brother Malcolm IV as King of Scots.
